How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

If you submit a contact form through the website: right-space.co.uk
If you contact Right Time, Right Space to discuss a potential decluttering or organising project.
As part of the consultation process.
To provide you with a financial estimate or invoice.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

Through partnerships or referral agreements with other organisations who believe the services of Right Time, Right Space may be of benefit to you. In this situation you will be made aware and have consented to the other organisation sharing your information with Right Time, Right Space.

We use the information that you have given Right Time, Right Space in order to provide you with a decluttering or organising service. We may use the information to provide you with marketing materials.

Right Time, Right Space may use your name, photographs or a written testimonial only when agreed by you in writing.

We may share your contact details (name, address and phone number) with one further trusted individual who will be a contact of Right Time, Right Space. This person will only hold your contact details as part of a lone working policy to ensure the safety of the Right Time, Right Space Consultant. Your contact details will be known only to that named person for the duration of your project.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Jenny Cooke, Right Time, Right Space Consultant via jenny@right-space.co.uk

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored in a cloud storage platform. Data is encrypted. Right Time, Right Space does not retain paper records.

Right Time, Right Space will keep personal information (name, address, telephone number, invoice details of the project) for 8 years following the completion of the Decluttering or Organising Project. Right Time, Right Space will then dispose of your information by deleting the digital storage.

Marketing consent will be kept for a period of three years from the point consent was given, at which point consent will be requested again.

At the end of the three year period Right Time, Right Space will then dispose of your information by deleting the digital storage.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
